YouTube has also revised its advertiser way of easing guidelines, and in the latest updates, creators can be allowed to get full ad revenue even when their videos do use strong profanities. The change was confirmed by the Head of Monetization Policy Experience of YouTube in a video uploaded to the channel Creator Insider. This has enabled creators to make use of heavy profanities in the first seven seconds of their videos and get full monetization of their content.
The new regulations are equivalent to broadcasting regulations and the advertisers anticipated that advertisements on YouTube will contain gap between profanity and the advert that preceeded it. This is not to make profanity more rampant in the content of the YouTube, but rather to enable the advertisers to couple their commercials with the content better. Content creators will also not enjoy maximum monetization on their video titles or their thumbnails or applications that contain swear words.
