WhatsApp Update Guest Chats Coming Soon
WhatsApp is currently in the process of rolling out a new feature, guest chats, which would enable its users to initiate a chat with the person who does not have a WhatsApp account. The feature is available on the WhatsApp beta for Android (version 2.25.22.13) as discovered by WABetaInfo who claims that the feature will be rolled out with the release of the regular WhatsApp Android and iOS in the upcoming days.

The guest chat option enables people to send a message link through texting, email or social media to their contacts that do not (or lack active) WhatsApp. After opening the link, the non-WhatsApp user will be redirected to a sort of WhatsApp Web application where they could communicate with WhatsApp users with the encryption of messages.
Guest chats have a number of restrictions since users cannot share media files, gif and voice messages or launch video calls. They are on their own in the ecosystem of WhatsApp. The next feature could be the measure to promote the interoperability of platforms in the European Union which presupposes the necessity of the various online services to be able to communicate with each other.
