Spotify Premium Gets An Upgrade With New Pricing
Spotify has just announced new price increases to users of the Premium service. The increase will be announced via email to subscribers in South Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Latin America and the Asia-Pacific region shortly. Streaming service has not revealed details on countries where it is increasing the prices.

It has been verified that Premium plans in several of EU markets, such as Spain, Italy, Portugal have already been increased by 1 Euro and currently begin at 11.99 dollars. The effect of the change will be realized by the current subscribers in next month billing. In the latest Q2 financial result, the Premium subscriber base at Spotify was on an upbeat trend, reaching a cumulative total of 276 million, but the streaming service did not quite meet its earnings forecast by 100 million dollars.
