Apple is also considering the best tandem OLED display that will fit the iPhone, and it seems that it likes the simplified version compared to the one available in the latest iPad Pros. Even a simplified click on OLED would consist of two panels, the second OLED layer would consist of blue subpixels only, and the main panel could consist of red and green ones. In the previous year, LG Display is claimed to have reached out to Apple regarding a simplified tandem OLED display, and Apple is also negotiating with its other major supplier- Samsung display.
