OnePlus Nord 5 Review Preview
We are today joined with the new OnePlus Nord 5 Review Preview that is the latest direct entry product of its line of less expensive products of smartphones, of the company. It is going to be available in a week when it will go on shelves together with the Nord CE5 but today, we can finally bring you an unboxing preview of the phone.
Beginning at the package, the OnePlus Nord 5 Review Preview packaged in a stereotypical blue box that we have grown used to with Nord products. It is also characteristic of Nord box, that no specific model number is mentioned on the front, such that it looks the same as any other Nord box until one flips it around.
The box of India will contain the phone along with an 80W fast charger and a USB cable used to transfer data and power. OnePlus is also supplied with a silicone case that is dark gray in color.
Our particular review unit has got the Marble Sands finish, meaning that we have light champagne golding on the frame and glass back. Very strikingly on the back panel there is etched a very fascinating pattern, reminding one of the folds and swellings in marble surface, and coming very near to appearing in relief, in the way it catches light. It is an amazing appearance that was extremely difficult to photographed and must be witnessed in real life to be adequately admired.
Nonetheless, the rear part of the phone is composed of this same exotic glass though the frame is composed of plastic. This is a step down of Nord 4 that was constructed out of one solid piece of aluminum and felt very premium.
It is also the case you might have noticed that OnePlus Nord 5 Review Preview has a vertical camera placement at the back. The Nord 4 had a horizontal arrangement design although OnePlus Nord 5 Review Preview shifts to the vertical arrangement which the other Nord phones have followed over the years.
Nord 5 uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 band chip, so it is the first Nord phone with a chip of flagship grade. It has also got a 50MP Sony LYT-700 camera with an OIS on its back and a 50MP camera with autofocus, Samsung JN5 camera on the front. The screen also extends support up to 144Hz refresh in games such as BGMI, Call of Duty: Mobile among others.
