Nothing Headphone 1 First Impressions
Although the Nothing Headphone 1 First Impressions brand started its adventure towards success with mid-tier smartphones, the company is rapidly starting to diversify and now introduced its inaugural un-budgetary-concerted earphones, and they aren t low-cost by any means.
The Nothing Headphone 1 First Impressions has a rather non-standard design, comfortable earpads, and a series of high-quality features. The idea is to compete directly with the others such as Sony, Bose and Sennheiser.
The headphones are designed using the transparent and techy language Nothing uses on its products and they are of high build quality. It has a polarising design but one that is immediately recognisable and we think this was always what they were aiming at.
There is one sure thing we like the hardware controls. To them, they are very convenient.
The Headphone (1) does not lack bells and whistles also. These two include adaptive active noise cancellation. The 42 dB ANC has been lauded as a hybrid making use of six microphones.
The mobile sound drivers are more than generous at 40mm and are designed in conjunction with KEF. There is support of the most popular high-definition codecs such as AAC, SBC and LDAC.
The battery life is claimed to last 80 hours with ANC turned off, which is just amazing, at least on paper. This is so as they come with a massive 1,040 mAh battery that is charged through USB-C. You also can use the 3.5mm audio jack in case you want to be retro.
